Services

Four ways to work together.

Most engagements start with a systems question and grow from there. Take whichever fits the problem in front of you.

01 — Advisory

Security systems advisory

For operators facing a major technology decision: a refresh, a new-build program, a platform migration, or a deployment that has gone sideways.

You're about to make a seven- or eight-figure commitment based on a recommendation from the company that profits from it. I sit on your side of the table.

  • Independent review of current footprint, platform, and vendor agreements
  • Requirements definition and RFP development
  • Integrator selection, bid analysis, and commercial negotiation support
  • Deployment oversight and acceptance testing
  • Total cost of ownership modeling, including the years after the install
Engagement
Fixed-scope project, typically 4–12 weeks.

02 — Operations

Remote operations & service model

For operators running security technology across sites they rarely visit — or about to be.

A system that works on handover day is a different thing from a system that still works in year three. The hard part is everything after: a camera offline in a store nobody visits, firmware across tens of thousands of endpoints, a subcontractor doing sloppy work in a market where you have no staff. I have run that estate at 11,000 sites across a dozen countries.

  • Remote monitoring and system health architecture
  • Service level definition and integrator performance management
  • Firmware, lifecycle, and refresh planning across the estate
  • Escalation and after-hours support models for markets without local staff
  • Managed service contract review and renegotiation
Engagement
Fixed-scope project, or folded into a fractional CSO retainer.

03 — Leadership

Fractional Chief Security Officer

For organizations that need executive security leadership and can't justify a full-time hire.

Not every organization can — or should — dedicate a full-time executive to physical security. But "nobody owns it" is a position you have to defend after an incident, not before.

  • Ownership of the physical security program and its governance
  • Security standards for new sites, remodels, and acquisitions
  • Vendor and integrator management, including contract renegotiation
  • Incident response and threat case oversight
  • Board and executive reporting
  • A named, accountable executive attached to the program
Engagement
Monthly retainer, typically 3–5 days per month. Six-month minimum.

04 — Assessment

Risk and site security assessment

For operators with premises liability exposure, an insurance renewal problem, or a workplace violence compliance gap.

After an incident, the question is not what happened. It is whether you took documented, reasonable steps against a foreseeable risk — and who put their name to that judgment.

  • Multi-site risk assessment using consistent, documented methodology
  • CPTED evaluation and physical hardening recommendations
  • Workplace violence prevention program development, including SB 553 and multi-state exposure
  • Prioritized remediation roadmap with cost estimates
  • Documentation built to withstand legal and regulatory scrutiny
Engagement
Fixed fee, scoped by site count.
